EYFS Teacher required for full academic year (September 2026 – July 2027)

• Daily Salary: £168.80 - £215.68
• Paid to scale from day one
• Start: September 2026 – July 2027 (Full academic year)

We are seeking an EYFS Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Morecambe. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong background in early years education. The position starts on the 1st September 2026 and is available until July 2027, with the potential for permanency (for the correct candidate). Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to early years students, following the EYFS framework.
• Plan and prepare lessons that meet the developmental needs of young children, incorporating the development matters guidelines and phonics.
• Assess and record children’s progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs and abilities.
• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development through the use of continuous provision.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic development of students.
• Participate in school activities and continuous professional development opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven EYFS teaching experience desirable
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework, development matters, and systematic synthetic phonics.
• Ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences for young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
