SEN Teaching Assistant - Worthing

We are looking for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Worthing. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
The Role - Support pupils with SEN including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs
- Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Assist with classroom activities and personal development
Requirements - Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, care, youth work, or similar)
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
