Production Technician Wanted

Full-time Permanent Employment Opportunity.

Core Hours: 37.5-Hours per week, Monday to Friday.

No visa sponsorship available. This is so we can confirm a candidate’s right to work, you must be eligable to work full-time in the UK on a permanent basis.
  • This role will require a full security background and checks to be completed if offered the position.
  • This position will require 100% office-based commitment during your probation period, no remote or hybrid option available during this initial stage.

Overview:

Working in a highly complex electromechanical production environment, completing assembly, rework, testing, working to and development of manufacturing procedures.

  • Using detailed procedures, drawings, documents, change notes, schematics, oral and written instructions.
  • Work and rework printed circuit assemblies to a high standard, soldering and unsoldering, wiring, crimping, drilling, filling and cutting, application of mastic and adhesives, using various tools and equipment available on site.
  • Check and inspect work completed, procative trouble shooting, problem solving.
  • Participate with creation of SOPs.
  • Raise defect reports.
  • View, print and enter data on data management system.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current experience in a similar role in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Currently or recently working in cellular manufacturing environment.
  • Completing analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Fluent in English with strong numeracy and literary skills / experience.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to complete physically demanding duties in an industrial / manufacturing role, lifting and carrying.
