Description

• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes effectively.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and reporting requirements.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets.
• Support the implementation of process improvements in the accounting function.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• A professional accounting qualification or equivalent academic background.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Excel for analysis and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience in the transport and distribution industry is desirable but not essential.
