Project & Quotes Coordinator

Reed Lancashire working with a well-established and growing construction business that is looking to bring in a Project & quotes coordinator to support their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career, particularly from a projects, costing, or construction background, to develop their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail, and is keen to build a long-term career in estimating within the construction industry.

The Role

You will play a key part in supporting the tendering process from initial enquiry through to project handover. Key responsibilities will include:

• Reading and interpreting architect and engineer drawings and specifications
• Preparing material take-offs and assisting with costings
• Liaising with the in-house design team to understand construction details
• Obtaining and reviewing quotations for materials and subcontractors
• Pricing projects using Excel and preparing supporting tender documentation
• Monitoring submitted tenders and following up with clients
• Supporting the handover process to the operations team once projects are secured

This is a varied role offering great exposure across the full project lifecycle.

Person Specification

We’re keen to speak with candidates who are motivated to learn and develop within estimating. Ideal candidates will have:

• Previous experience within a projects, construction, or costing environment (including entry-level estimating exposure)
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent communication skills, with a confident and professional manner
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience)
• Full-time role – 40 hours per week (08:00 – 17:00)
