We are seeking a strong and consistent Year 4 Teacher for a long-term, full-time role at a primary school in the Plymstock area. This position requires a teacher who is confident in taking full responsibility for the class, including planning, preparation, and marking. This role is ideal for candidates who are looking for a stable position rather than day-to-day supply work.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Teach a Year 4 class full-time, Monday to Friday.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Mark work and assess pupil progress regularly.
• Establish and maintain high standards of behaviour consistently.
• Collaborate closely with support staff and senior leadership to enhance student learning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong behaviour management skills, essential and non-negotiable.
• Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
• Availability to work five days per week until July.
• Calm, firm, and professional approach to classroom management.
