Role - Financial Controller Location - Bolton Salary - Between £70,000 and £85,000 + benefits

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a growing SME manufacturing/distribution business in their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their offices just outside Bolton.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified and have a strong a technical accounting background. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workloads is crucial. Advanced Excel skills are essential as is the ability to be 'hands on' and get into the detail of an organisation. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve:

• Responsibility for month-end close
• Manage the financial reporting process
• Cashflow management
• Variance analysis and reporting on trends
• KPI Reporting
• Statutory accounts production
• Lead on compliance
• Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and systems
• Management of the finance team

Salary for the role is anywhere between £70,000 and £85,000
