Marketing Executive

I am thrilled to be supporting my client in the travel and tourism sector in the recruitment of a Marketing Executive in their Glasgow City Centre office. The role supports the wider marketing function, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while delivering ongoing digital content across key channels such as the website, social media and customer communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage marketing content across the website, email campaigns and social media channels
• Manage and grow social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
• Coordinate with external agencies on advertising, website support, branding and digital campaigns.
• Update and maintain website content and CMS, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Support marketing strategy, PR activity, events and new product launches alongside the Marketing Manager.

• Analyse marketing performance and customer insights, contributing to reports and campaign improvements.

Key Requirements

• 1–2 years’ hands-on marketing experience in a content or digital marketing role

• Strong content creation and social media management skills
• Experience with email marketing systems, databases and digital asset management tools
• Proficiency in WordPress CMS, Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail

• Analytical mindset with strong numeracy skills and understanding of GDPR/data hygiene principles

• An interest in travel, tourism, leisure and/or hospitality
