Supply Staff is currently recruiting English Teachers to support secondary schools across Thurrock. We are looking for dedicated English Teachers who are passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting student achievement.

Job Overview:

As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that help students develop literacy, communication, and critical thinking skills. The successful English Teacher will plan lessons, assess student progress, and support students preparing for examinations. This English Teacher role is ideal for a qualified teacher looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons as an English Teacher.

• Assess and monitor student progress in English.

• Support students preparing for GCSE examinations.

• Work closely with other English Teacher staff and school leaders.

• Maintain strong classroom behaviour and learning standards.

Requirements:

• QTS, QTLS, or equivalent teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching English within a secondary school.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Passion for education and student achievement.
