KS2 Teaching Assistant – Cheltenham

£105 per day | Full-time | Monday–Friday (8:30am – 3:15pm)

Are you passionate about supporting children to thrive and achieve their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school, working across Key Stage 2.

The Role

In this rewarding position, you will:

• Support pupils in the classroom and in small group interventions
• Help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Provide valuable 1:1 and group support to promote progress and confidence
• Deliver daily lunchtime supervision (30 minutes), supporting OPAL outdoor play or assisting in the dining hall

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential)
• A positive, nurturing approach with the ability to put children first
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence to use initiative and adapt to children’s needs
• Good understanding of how children learn and develop
• Knowledge or experience of behaviour management strategies (desirable)

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 3:15pm
• Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
• Additional 30-minute paid lunchtime cover (Grade 2 rate)
• £105 per day
