Community Team Manager

Location: Leicester

Salary: c£30,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week + on-call rota


About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Community Team Manager to lead a dedicated care team delivering high-quality, person-centred support.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in health and social care leadership who is passionate about improving outcomes, developing teams, and ensuring compliance with care standards.

You will support the Service Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, driving performance, and maintaining excellent standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of care professionals
  • Manage performance, conduct supervisions, and support staff development
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention

Service Delivery & Quality

  • Ensure high-quality, person-centred care at all times
  • Maintain compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding requirements
  • Manage incidents, complaints, and safeguarding concerns effectively

Operations & Compliance

  • Support rota planning and ensure safe staffing levels
  • Assist in budget management and resource allocation
  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and legal requirements

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
  • Promote service reputation within the local community

Requirements

  • Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role within care
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, CQC standards, and care legislation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including participation in an on-call rota
