Community Team Manager
Location: Leicester
Salary: c£30,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week + on-call rota
About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Community Team Manager to lead a dedicated care team delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in health and social care leadership who is passionate about improving outcomes, developing teams, and ensuring compliance with care standards.
You will support the Service Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, driving performance, and maintaining excellent standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of care professionals
- Manage performance, conduct supervisions, and support staff development
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention
Service Delivery & Quality
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred care at all times
- Maintain compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding requirements
- Manage incidents, complaints, and safeguarding concerns effectively
Operations & Compliance
- Support rota planning and ensure safe staffing levels
- Assist in budget management and resource allocation
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and legal requirements
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
- Promote service reputation within the local community
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Experience in a supervisory or management role within care
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, CQC standards, and care legislation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including participation in an on-call rota
