We are recruiting on behalf of a large, inclusive primary academy within a well-established multi-academy trust, seeking an exceptional Riggs SEN Class Teacher to join their team.
This is a rewarding class-based role working with pupils from EYFS to Year 6 within a specialist resource provision, supporting children with social communication needs, including ASD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour.
You will:
- Plan, deliver, and assess tailored, engaging lessons
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Create a structured, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with a committed and supportive staff team
This role is not suitable for ECTs.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children with SEND
- Be passionate about inclusive education and pupil progress
- Have strong behaviour management and engagement strategies
- Be proactive, committed, and child-centred in approach
You will also:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Ideally have KS1 or KS2 teaching experience
- Hold, or be willing to work towards, the SENDCo qualification
