Business Development Manager — Europe | Life Sciences & Advanced Manufacturing

My client a leading engineering and life sciences group is looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition across Europe within the life sciences and advanced manufacturing sectors (CDMO/CRO services).

This is a key commercial role focused on winning new business, building senior-level relationships, and delivering consultative, solution-based sales into complex, regulated environments.

This role will:

• Identify and close new business across pharma, biotech, medtech, diagnostics, genomics & electrical sectors
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signature
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders (R&D, procurement, operations, C-suite)
• Develop tailored, value-driven proposals and commercial solutions
• Represent the business at industry events and client meetings
• Work closely with technical and operations teams to shape deliverable solutions

We’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ experience in BD/sales within CDMO, CRO, or life sciences manufacturing
• Proven track record of winning new business in European markets
• Strong consultative selling skills in complex technical environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field
• Willingness to travel across Europe
