Bulk Gases Logistics Manager

A senior logistics role responsible for overseeing bulk gas transport, fleet performance, compliance and customer delivery across a complex operational environment. Reporting into the Plant & Operations Director, you'll lead planning, drivers and fleet activity while driving safety, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

• End-to-end management of bulk gas logistics and daily delivery planning
• Lead, coach and manage drivers and logistics planning teams
• Fleet and route optimisation to improve utilisation and reduce costs
• Ensure full transport, H&S and regulatory compliance
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, inspections and operating licence requirements
• Manage import/export activity, customs paperwork and supplier coordination
• Track KPIs including OTIF, fill rates, costs and asset utilisation
• Drive continuous improvement across logistics, processes and training
• Act as a key liaison between operations, sales, maintenance and customers

Ideal background:

• Senior logistics / transport management experience (bulk, hazardous or regulated environments ideal)
• Strong knowledge of fleet management, compliance and driver legislation
• Proven ability to lead teams, improve performance and manage cost
• Commercial, customer-focused and solutions-driven
