Senior Roofer (Site Lead)

Location: Winsford, Cheshire
Salary: £39,000 – £45,000 per annum (£20–£25 per hour DOE)
Contract: Permanent PAYE Contract - Full-time

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Roofer (Site Lead) to join a growing business in Winsford, specialising in commercial roofing projects. This is a key position for someone confident managing sites and acting as the face of the business with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality roofing work across commercial projects, including:
  
  • Flat roofing systems (felt, GRP, EPDM)
  • Slate and tile roofing where required
  • Lead work, flashing, and repairs
• Take full ownership of site activity, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
• Act as the main client liaison on-site, building strong professional relationships
• Coordinate with contractors, site managers, and stakeholders
• Lead, mentor, and supervise junior roofers
• Maintain strict adherence to health & safety standards
• Support with planning, materials, and workflow management

Requirements

• Strong roofing background, ideally within commercial environments
• Experience leading jobs as a Site Lead / Senior Roofer
• Confident, professional client-facing communication skills
• Expertise in flat roofing systems
• Gold CSCS Skilled Worker Card
• Full UK driving licence
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
