Childcare Officer - Chelmsford - Start Date ASAP

Prospero Teaching are seeking a committed Childcare Officer to join a warm, supportive setting in Chelmsford, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced childcare professional-or someone early in their career with strong potential-to support children's wellbeing, development, and daily care routines in a nurturing environment.

The school is looking for a compassionate practitioner with strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location - Chelmsford

• Position - Childcare Officer

• Type of work - Childcare & pupil support

• Start date - ASAP

• Duration - Ongoing / Long-term

• Full time/part-time - Full time

• Minimum rate of pay - £115-£150 per day (depending on experience)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)

• Experience working with children in a school, nursery, or childcare setting

• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)

• Strong understanding of child development and wellbeing

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

• Provide two professional child-related references
