Management Accountant

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Location: East Midlands (Hybrid Working)

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or a qualified professional seeking exposure within a structured, international finance environment.

Desirable (Not Essential)

• German language skills (spoken and/or written)
• Exposure to German accounting standards, overseas reporting, or international group structures

The Role

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and supporting business performance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
• Budgeting and forecasting, working closely with operational stakeholders
• Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close processes
• Supporting group reporting requirements and adherence to reporting deadlines
• Business partnering with non-finance teams to provide financial insight
• Cashflow forecasting and working capital analysis
• Assisting with year-end accounts and audit processes
• Continuous improvement of financial controls, processes, and reporting

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Strong background in management accounting within a commercial environment
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Strong Excel skills; ERP system experience beneficial
• Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
