The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a driven and commercially focused New Business Sales Executive to join a growing commercial insurance team based in Aylesbury.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a target-driven environment and enjoys building new client relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Proactively identify and win new commercial insurance clients through networking, referrals, outbound activity, and market research
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline to consistently achieve sales targets
  • Deliver tailored presentations and proposals based on client needs and risk profiles

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Conduct detailed fact-finding to understand client risks and insurance requirements
  • Provide expert advice on appropriate cover and insurance solutions

Insurance Placement & Negotiation

  • Work closely with internal underwriting and broking teams to secure competitive terms
  • Prepare and present high-quality quotations and recommendations

Compliance & Administration

  • Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on CRM and policy systems
  • Manage documentation relating to client interactions, risk assessments, and quotations

About You

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within commercial insurance sales
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk assessment
  • Proven track record in a target-driven sales environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g. MS Dynamics)
