Lab Assistant - Initial 6 month contract
Harwell, Oxfordshire
Up to £16.83 per hour - 40 hours per week

Randstad are working alongside a world-leading pharmaceutical company who are looking for a Lab Assistant to join their team and support QC lab operations, testing and projects.

On an initial 6 month basis, you will join an experienced QC team at the forefront of pharma and biotechnology.

Key Duties:

• Perform solution/reagent preparation and tracking.
• Order, manage, and stock laboratory consumables and supplies.
• Execute simple laboratory testing (e.g. pH, conductivity).
• Assist with sample receipt, processing, and shipment.
• Perform data entry utilising good documentation practices (GDP).
• Maintain a safe and compliant GxP working environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• A-level in Chemistry/Biology or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting.
• Ability to follow detailed SOPs and maintain accurate records.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
