We are working with a well-established global B2B organisation to recruit a Marketing and Social Media Assistant to join their growing team based just outside Burton-on-Trent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior marketer to gain broad, hands-on experience across digital and offline marketing within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Marketing Manager in delivering the annual marketing plan
• Create and manage content across LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok
• Produce high-quality, original copywriting for social media and marketing campaigns
• Assist in the development of B2B and consumer-focused marketing campaigns
• Brief designers on marketing materials including brochures, packaging, leaflets and flyers
• Work closely with the sales team to provide marketing support and materials
• Assist with event planning and trade day coordination
• Manage merchandise stock and support general marketing administration

Skills and Experience Required

• Previous experience in a marketing role (placement, internship or apprenticeship considered)
• Experience managing or contributing to social media platforms (B2B and/or B2C)
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills
• Understanding of digital marketing and social media trends
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proactive, organised and willing to learn

Education:

• Degree in Marketing or related field, or a relevant apprenticeship

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to commute to Burton-on-Trent (limited public transport access)
• Driving licence desirable
