An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Claims professional to join a leading London Market insurer in a senior position handling complex legacy claims across a multi-class portfolio.
This role will involve the management of a broad range of legacy business including Reinsurance Casualty, Marine, Aviation, Property, Professional Liability, Motor, A&H, and other specialist classes. You will play a key role in driving claims strategy, managing complex losses, and working closely with brokers, clients, market practitioners, and counsel.

Key Responsibilities - Manage complex legacy claims across a multi-class portfolio
- Lead on Reinsurance Casualty claims handling and oversight
- Attend market meetings and liaise with brokers, clients, and legal counsel
- Monitor and report on key complex losses and claims developments
- Ensure proactive diary management and adherence to reserving philosophy
- Identify opportunities to progress and resolve dormant claims
- Provide detailed commentary for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
- Represent the business at broker and client meetings
- Contribute to a customer-focused and value-adding claims service
About You - Experienced London Market Claims professional with strong technical expertise
- Previous experience handling direct and reinsurance claims
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable representing the business externally with brokers and clients
- Adaptable across multiple classes of business
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience using ECF and strong Microsoft Office skills
