We are currently looking for a Human Resources Director, 12 month fixed term contract who will
As the Human Resources Director, you will:
- Act as a strategic Business Partner to the Operating Unit/Enabling Function, aligning people plans with business goals, influencing senior leaders, and leading the HR Operations team.
- Deliver workforce planning, talent, and capability strategies to ensure the business has the right people, skills, and development in place to meet current and future needs.
- Drive a high-performance culture through effective employee relations, delivery of annual HR processes, and robust goal-setting and development planning for all employees.
- Lead initiatives that create safe, well, and highly engaged teams, using engagement, absence, and people data to identify trends, improve organisational health, and support targeted action.
- Champion inclusive leadership, diversity, and succession planning by building diverse talent pipelines, promoting an inclusive culture, and ensuring strong short- and long-term leadership capability across the business.
We are looking for:
- Strategic people planning: Ability to develop and deliver effective people and workforce plans, with clear visibility of resource and skills needs and actions to maintain low vacancy levels.
- Strong HR leadership and governance: Capability to put effective governance in place for key people activities, coach and develop the HR team, and build succession within the HR function.
- Performance, learning, and employee relations expertise: Proven ability to drive training delivery, learning adoption, PDR and development plan completion, and strong ER capability among line managers.
- Talent, succession, and inclusion focus: Skilled in creating talent development plans, building strong and diverse succession pipelines, and delivering practical inclusion and diversity plans.
- Data-driven and improvement-oriented mindset: Strong analytical ability to interpret trends, identify correlations, share best practice, and turn people data into actionable insights that improve engagement and retention.
