Music Teacher – Permanent Role

Reading | Start Date: September 2026 

We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a passionate and talented Music Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Reading on a permanent basis.

The Role:

• Full-time Music Teacher position
• Teach engaging and inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum
• Support extracurricular music activities (e.g. choir, bands, performances)
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and department

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for music education
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
• Willingness to contribute to concerts, productions, and enrichment activities
