Description

• Manage the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of VAT, PAYE, and other statutory tax filings.
• Provide guidance on tax planning strategies to optimise the company's tax position.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise on their potential impact on the business.
• Work closely with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance and resolve tax-related queries.
• Develop and implement internal tax policies and procedures to streamline processes.
• Support cross-functional teams on tax implications for business decisions and transactions.
• Prepare detailed tax reports for senior management, ensuring accuracy and transparency.

Profile

A successful Tax Manager should have:

• Professional qualifications in tax or accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA.
• Extensive knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations, particularly in the Technology & Telecoms industry.
• Proven experience in tax compliance, reporting, and planning.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
