Finance Business Partner

Newly Qualified Accountant (0–2 years PQ)

London / Hybrid

Full-time, Permanent

Salary £60-65k

The Opportunity

We’re working with a global, data-driven organisation to recruit a newly qualified accountant into a growing Finance Business Partnering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stage of their post-qualification career who wants real commercial exposure and the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders.

You’ll support multiple business units, helping to drive financial performance through high-quality insight, robust forecasting and clear financial storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage forecasting cycles including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and medium-term plans
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior business and sales leaders, helping them understand performance and make informed decisions
  • Produce and present monthly P&L reporting, including insightful variance analysis and commentary
  • Support month-end and quarter-end processes, locally and at group level
  • Deliver ad-hoc commercial analysis (e.g. product performance, customer analysis, FTE and payroll reviews)
  • Work collaboratively with finance, HR and other central teams in a fast-paced, international environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Recently qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), ideally 0–2 years post qualification
  • Experience in commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering (including placements or rotations)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight
  • Confidence communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with a genuine interest in the commercial side of the business
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial models and large datasets

Why Apply?

  • Genuine business-facing role with exposure to senior leadership
  • Broad commercial remit rather than a narrow reporting role
  • Supportive environment ideal for someone stepping into their first or second post-qualified role
  • Hybrid working and a collaborative, inclusive culture
  • Clear scope for progression as the finance function continues to evolve

If you’re a newly qualified accountant looking to step away from pure reporting and into a true commercial finance and business partnering role, this is an excellent next move.
