Job Title: Warehouse Administrator


Location: Hounslow

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00/18:00 (depending on workload)

Salary: Up to £35,000 (dependent on experience)


Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join our client based in Hounslow. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting both B2B and B2C fulfilment operations, including cross-border shipments and ETSF control.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining accurate systems data, and supporting operational efficiency through strong administrative and IT capabilities.


Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & Fulfilment Administration
  • Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse administrative tasks across B2B and B2C operations
  • Process orders using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) with a high level of accuracy
  • Generate picking lists, dispatch documentation, and shipping labels
  • Support inbound and outbound operations including receiving, put-away, and returns processing
  • Allocate workload in line with volumes and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Maintain accurate stock records and system updates

Cross-Border & Freight Coordination
  • Support UK–EU–UK shipment processing alongside the cross-border team
  • Ensure all shipment data and documentation are accurately recorded and compliant
  • Assist with load planning and system tracking to optimise transport efficiency
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers and transport providers

ETSF & Compliance Administration
  • Maintain accurate records for ETSF-controlled goods in line with HMRC requirements
  • Ensure all documentation is audit-ready and compliant
  • Support secure handling and restricted access processes

Reporting & Systems Management
  • Produce daily reports on KPIs including dispatch, accuracy, and performance metrics
  • Maintain and update internal systems, spreadsheets, and tracking tools
  • Analyse data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement

Health, Safety & Quality
  • Ensure adherence to QHSE standards and safe systems of work
  • Support audits, spot checks, and compliance reporting
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation

Team Support
  • Work closely with warehouse operatives and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist with training on systems and processes where required
  • Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and efficiency

Skills & Experience
  • Essential: Very strong IT skills, including:
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (data handling, reporting, spreadsheets)
  • Confident use of email, databases, and internal systems
  • Previous experience (3–5 years) within a warehouse, logistics, or fulfilment environment
  • Experience supporting cross-border or freight operations (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Counterbalance forklift licence (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable)
  • Understanding of QHSE principles (manual handling, PPE, LOLER/PUWER)
