Finance Business Partner on a full time, permanent basis.

If you've recently qualified and want more than just month-end and reporting, this is a role where you'll learn, influence and add real value from day one. We're working with a growing Liverpool-based business looking to appoint a newly qualified accountant into a visible, commercially focused position supporting the Head of Finance.

The successful applicant will be newly qualified, preferably ACA / CIMA with the potential to grow in a commercial role.

Job Summary:

  • Supporting delivery of monthly management accounts
  • Producing analysis, insights with full commentary for senior stakeholders
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles
  • Partnering with operational teams to drive performance and challenge decisions
  • Supporting improvements in process, controls and reporting
  • Getting involved in projects, systems and continuous improvement initiatives

The ideal applicant:

  • Newly qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Ideally practice-trained (ICAEW / Top 10) or strong industry exposure
  • Strong Excel skills and a natural interest in data and insight
  • Someone who is curious, commercially minded and wants to get involved
  • Confident communicator - able to engage with non-finance stakeholders
