Early Years Practitioner – Ascot, Berkshire SL5

Salary: £13.70 per hour | Up to £28,500 per year (depending on experience, qualifications, and age)

Hours: 40 hours over 4 days OR 30 hours over 3 days | Shifts between 7:30am–6:30pm | Set weekly day off

Contract: Permanent | All year round

We are looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our Ofsted Outstanding Nursery team in Ascot, Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-quality early years setting with a strong focus on EYFS, child development, and professional growth.

The ideal Early Years Practitioner will be confident, highly motivated, and passionate about delivering engaging learning experiences for children while building strong relationships with parents and colleagues. We are committed to ongoing professional development and will fully support practitioners who wish to progress to Level 4, Level 5, or degree-level qualifications.

Responsibilities of the Early Years Practitioner

• Provide the highest standard of childcare and early education for all children
• Work collaboratively as part of a passionate nursery team
• Support children’s learning and development and share progress with families
• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework

About You

• Minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
• Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner or similar childcare role
• Loyal, enthusiastic, and passionate about early years education
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practice
• Excellent teamwork and relationship-building skills
• Eligible to work in the UK
