Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Cheltenham (Hybrid)

Reporting to: Finance Operations Manager

Overview

An opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to support financial reporting, month-end processes, and business partnering within a finance operations team. Ideal for someone studying or planning to study AAT, ACCA, or CIMA.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate income records and reporting
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Support month-end and quarter-end close
• Produce financial analysis for finance and operations teams
• Manage invoicing and transaction integrity
• Assist with ERP system processes and improvements
• Support audits and ad-hoc finance tasks
• Provide cover across AP and cash management when required

• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and organisation
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement
• Proactive, team-oriented approach

Qualifications

• Studying towards (or willing to study) AAT, ACCA, or CIMA
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Previous finance experience desirable
