This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly/recently qualified accountant making their first move out of Audit. This will be a varied role and work across group; producing management accounts, technical accounting, with stakeholder engagement and a range of interesting projects.

Client Details

Our client is a market leading UK Wide Organisation with a best in class finance function, based in the heart of Glasgow City Centre.

Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities
• Support with group consolidations and intercompany reconciliations
• Key involvement in the year-end audit process, acting as the main contact for auditors
• Balance sheet reconciliations and review of financial controls and processes
• Support cashflow reporting and provide financial analysis where required
• Partner with operational teams to improve financial understanding and reporting
• Drive process improvements across reporting and controls

Profile

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

• ICAS/ACCA Newly-Qualifed
• Strong grounding in financial reporting and audit
• Exposure to multi-entity or group structures advantageous
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders
• Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
• Keen to make a first move into industry and develop commercially
