They are seeking an experienced and commercially minded finance leader to join as Head of Financial Planning & Analysis on a 14-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of change and strategic development. The Role Reporting to the Finance Director, the Head of FP&A will lead the organisation's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting processes. You will provide strategic financial insight to senior leadership, enabling informed decision-making and supporting the delivery of our long-term objectives. This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership, analytical capability and experience operating within complex not-for-profit organisations. Key Responsibilities
Lead the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes across the organisation.
Develop and enhance long-term financial planning models.
Deliver insightful management reporting, KPI analysis and board presentations.
Partner with Executive Directors and budget holders to provide strategic financial support.
Analyse financial performance and identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Drive improvements in FP&A processes, systems and reporting tools.
Support business cases, investment appraisals and scenario planning.
Manage and develop a small FP&A team.
Candidate Profile We are looking for a qualified finance professional with a proven track record in financial planning and analysis within large, complex organisations. Essential Requirements
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Significant experience in a senior FP&A role.
Previous experience within a not-for-profit organisation with turnover exceeding £100 million.
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and boards.
Excellent business partnering and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements.

Experience working in organisations undergoing transformation or change.
Familiarity with ERP and financial planning systems.
