A warm, community-focused primary school in Lichfield is looking for a reliable, caring, and proactive Lunchtime Supervisor to support pupils during the busy midday period. This role suits someone who enjoys working with children, promotes positive play, and helps maintain a safe, calm lunchtime environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground, and indoor areas
• Encouraging positive play, good manners, and respectful behaviour
• Supporting younger pupils with meals and lunchtime routines
• Managing minor behaviour issues calmly and consistently
• Ensuring pupil safety and wellbeing at all times
• Helping set up and clear away dining hall equipment
• Working collaboratively as part of a supportive midday team

• A friendly, patient, and approachable manner
• Confidence supervising groups of children
• Good communication and behaviour-management skills
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Willingness to undertake training (safeguarding, first aid, etc.)
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
