Our client is a well-established and highly respected manufacturing business specialising in end-to-end lifecycle management of hydraulic and fluid power solutions. Due to continued growth, we are now recruiting for an experienced Hydraulics Fitter to join their skilled engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Hydraulics Fitter to work with a company that supports projects from initial concept and design through to manufacture, installation, servicing, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and aftermarket support.

As a Hydraulics Fitter, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic systems and associated equipment. Working within a modern manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in ensuring products are built and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit hydraulic components and systems from engineering drawings and specifications
• Build and test hydraulic power units, cylinders, valves, and associated equipment
• Carry out servicing, maintenance, repair, and overhaul work both in-house and occasionally on customer sites
• Diagnose hydraulic and mechanical faults and implement effective solutions
• Conduct pressure testing and functional testing of hydraulic systems
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and quality standards
• Support installation and commissioning activities when required
