The Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious Client Manager or Senior Manager to play a pivotal role in managing a varied client portfolio while supporting the firm’s continued growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys both technical delivery and relationship-building, with scope to step into a more strategic, business development-focused role over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Oversee self-assessment tax returns (initially), with a clear pathway to transition this work and focus on portfolio growth
  • Provide practical, day-to-day tax advice with support from an in-house specialist tax team
  • Plan, delegate, and oversee workflow across the team
  • Review work to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and compliance
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, supporting their professional growth
  • Build strong, lasting client relationships and collaborate with Partners to expand the portfolio

About You

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
  • Currently operating in a Manager or Supervisory role within practice
  • Proven experience managing client portfolios and overseeing staff
  • Strong technical knowledge and up-to-date understanding of accounting standards
  • A confident communicator with excellent client relationship skills
  • Passionate about mentoring, leadership, and progression
