Your Company:A well-established and privately owned early years education group is partnering with NET Recruit to appoint a
Nursery Manager on a permanent basis for one of its high-performing nursery settings in South East London.

Your Role and Responsibilities:While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the nursery setting
- Providing strong leadership, guidance and support to the nursery team to promote a positive and collaborative culture
- Ensuring the highest standards of care, learning and safeguarding are consistently maintained
- Overseeing staff performance, development, recruitment and retention within the nursery
- Supporting the ongoing professional development of Early Years practitioners and room leaders
- Maintaining full compliance with EYFS requirements, safeguarding regulations and Ofsted standards
- Building strong and positive relationships with parents, carers and external stakeholders
- Monitoring occupancy, staffing ratios and operational performance to ensure smooth day-to-day delivery
- Conducting regular observations, reviews and quality checks across the nursery environment
- Promoting a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports children’s emotional, social and educational development
- Managing nursery administration, record keeping and reporting requirements
- Supporting the nursery in achieving and maintaining strong Ofsted outcomes
What You Will Need To Apply: - NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or above
- Proven experience within a Nursery Manager or senior leadership role in an early years setting
- Strong working knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
- Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and operational management skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and early years education
- Ability to build positive relationships with staff, parents and external stakeholders
- A proactive and hands-on management style with a strong focus on continuous improvement
