Accounts Receivable Clerk - £35,000
Central London | 3-6 Month Temporary Contract | Immediate Start

A well-established luxury skincare brand is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its finance team on a temporary basis.

The Role

This position plays a key role in supporting the organisation's cash flow by ensuring timely invoicing, accurate allocation of payments, and effective management of outstanding balances. The role will involve regular interaction with both internal teams and external clients, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Accounts Receivable inbox and respond to queries promptly
• Raise and issue accurate invoices in line with company procedures
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, working closely with sales and operations teams
• Allocate incoming payments against open invoices
• Circulate customer statements and actively follow up on overdue balances
• Access customer procurement portals to download remittance advice and allocate bulk payments
• Support the wider finance team, including assisting with Accounts Payable activities where required
• Contribute to ad hoc finance projects and provide cover during peak periods or staff absence

Candidate Requirements

• 2-5 years' experience within Accounts Receivable, credit control, or a similar finance role
• Essential experience using SAP
• Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, and cash flow processes
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships and resolve issues efficiently
