We are recruiting a Head of Finance for a growing, multi-channel consumer business. This is a senior, commercially focused position offering significant influence over financial strategy, margin performance and decision-making during an exciting period of development.

This role would suit a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders and wants to play a key role in driving profitable, sustainable growth.

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, the Head of Finance will act as a strategic finance partner while retaining hands-on ownership of financial performance. You will provide clarity around profitability, costs and investment decisions, ensuring finance supports the commercial objectives of the business.

This is not a purely reporting role - it is a highly visible position with genuine input into how the business operates and grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial performance across a complex, multi-channel trading environment
• Provide commercial insight on margin, pricing, profitability and cost control
• Own budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
• Support strategic decisions through financial modelling and scenario analysis
• Deliver clear, concise reporting to senior stakeholders
• Maintain effective control of working capital, inventory and overheads
• Lead and develop a small, capable finance team
• Ensure robust financial governance as the business continues to evolve

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a senior finance role within consumer, retail, food, FMCG or multi-channel businesses
• Strong commercial mindset with experience influencing business decisions
• Track record of improving margin, profitability or financial performance
• Comfortable operating at senior leadership or board level
• Hands-on, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
