I am partnering with a growing MGA who are looking for a proactive and organised individual to support the efficient running of day-to-day underwriting operations.

As part of the role, you will work closely with the Underwriting teams and Head of Operations, helping to improve processes, reduce inefficiencies, and support the effective use of systems across the business.

The Role

• Provide day-to-day operational support to the Underwriting teams, ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of business
• Work closely with the Head of Operations to identify process improvements and implement more efficient workflows
• Respond to queries and operational issues, supporting their resolution in a timely manner
• Collaborate with colleagues across different teams to ensure seamless operational support
• Assist with data entry, documentation, and maintenance of underwriting systems to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Support reporting and tracking of underwriting activity where required

Experience Required

• Previous experience in insurance, underwriting support, or operations is advantageous
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling data and documentation
• A proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues and suggest practical solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with systems and data, including Excel or similar tools
• Previous experience in insurance, underwriting support, or operations is advantageous
• A team player with a flexible and adaptable approach in a growing environment
