Customer Service Administrator

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Customer Service Specialist to join our client's team. You will be instrumental in maximising customer service for designated accounts, providing continuous and high-quality support across all business areas.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Ensure new specifications are project managed and correctly implemented on the computer system.
  • Seek out new business opportunities from existing accounts to increase sales revenue and profitability.
  • Proactively manage and progress quotations from point of enquiry to conclusion.
  • Provide technical feedback to customers regarding our products.
  • Manage internal meetings, ensuring documentation is clear for key personnel regarding project requirements.
  • Submit monthly feedback reports to the Commercial Operations Manager.
  • Monitor stocks and payments to ensure adherence to agreed terms and liaise closely with the Finance Department to minimise credit exposure risk.
  • Provide forecasts and turnover information as requested.
  • Identify opportunities for the development of both standard and bespoke products and services.
  • Liaise with the Planning & Distribution department to ensure smooth processing of customer orders and timely acknowledgements of delivery dates.
  • Occasionally visit customers, which may require flexibility in standard working hours.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels within the company and with customers.
  • GCSE Maths and English, Grade A*-C/4-9 (or equivalent).
  • Ability to work under pressure, remain calm, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective teamwork skills.
  • Experience in managing projects.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Demonstrated competence in managing customer accounts.
