Financial Accountant - 15 Month Fixed-Term Contract

Location: Warwick (Hybrid - 3 days in office)

A well-established, global organisation is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its Financial Control & Accounting team on a 15-month fixed-term basis.

Working closely with the Chief Accountant, this role will focus on period-end reporting, balance sheet integrity, and maintaining a strong financial control environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely month-end and period-end reporting
• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts with supporting documentation
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring issues are fully closed out
• Provide variance analysis against plan and forecast, identifying key drivers
• Support continuous improvement across reporting, controls, and reconciliation processes
• Partner with commercial and operational teams to support financial performance

About You

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
• Proven experience in reconciliations and financial reporting
• Working knowledge of VAT and corporate tax
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP desirable)
• Methodical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving
