The role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Administrator to join our growing team and play a vital role in supporting our dynamic sales department. You will provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the MD and sales team, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, timely responses to enquiries, and accurate processing of sales-related documentation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent organisational skills, and is comfortable juggling multiple priorities.

Key responsibilities

  • Receiving and qualifying incoming phone enquiries, ensuring appropriate and prompt follow-up
  • Distributing and monitoring all key enquiries, ensuring they are addressed in a timely and effective manner
  • Assisting with preparing quotations for opportunities outside designated sales territories
  • Placing purchase orders with manufacturers for new equipment in alignment with confirmed sales
  • Processing order paperwork submitted by the sales team, coordinating with finance companies and the operations and service departments as required
  • Updating the contract database when new contracts are signed and entering invoicing details for new and upgraded clients
  • Collecting and compiling sales team expense submissions and preparing these for managerial sign-off
  • Cross-checking cost of sales reports from the sales team to support accurate commission calculations
  • Supporting onboarding logistics for new sales team members, including setting up tools, introductions, and documentation
  • Assisting with organising and booking training sessions, sales meetings, and company events
  • Collaborating with the marketing team on project-based work, offering admin and coordination support
  • Vehicle fleet service and repair management

What we are looking for

  • Experience in an administrative or sales support role is essential
  • The ability to work effectively with a driven, high-achieving sales team, offering support with confidence and professionalism
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
  • A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
