Floating Support Worker

£14.80 per hour + HP

Ongoing Contract

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Floating Support Worker to join a supportive service based in Ilford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals to maintain independent living and access appropriate community services.

• Provide floating support to clients with a range of support needs including homelessness, mental health, substance misuse, or tenancy sustainment.
• Carry out regular welfare checks, risk assessments, and support planning.
• Support clients with budgeting, benefits, appointments, and accessing local services.
• Maintain accurate case notes and ensure all safeguarding procedures are followed.
• Work in partnership with external agencies to promote positive outcomes for service users.
• Encourage independence and support clients in achieving personal goals.

• Previous experience working within supported housing or floating support services.
• Good understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and support planning.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Enhanced DBS preferred or willingness to obtain one.
