Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established and fast-paced distribution business based in Doncaster to recruit an experienced Warehouse Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a busy operational environment and is passionate about driving performance, team engagement, and continuous improvement.

The Role

As Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and health & safety standards are consistently achieved. You will lead, motivate, and develop a warehouse team to deliver operational excellence across goods in, picking, packing, and dispatch functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising a warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets
• Monitoring KPIs including productivity, accuracy, and service levels
• Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Supporting training, onboarding, and development of warehouse staff
• Managing workflow and allocating resources effectively across shifts
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operation
• Investigating and resolving operational issues quickly and effectively
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and stock accuracy
• Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth operational performance

About You

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor, or similar leadership role
• Strong people management and communication skills
• Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
• A proactive and hands-on leadership style
• Good understanding of warehouse KPIs and operational processes
• Ability to motivate teams and drive performance improvements
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures within a warehouse environment
• FLT licence would be advantageous but is not essential
