We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused individual to join our clients Dispute Resolution Team in a vital support role. Our large team of Dispute Resolution Solicitors handles a broad range of matters and continues to strengthen its national reputation. This role sits within our Real Estate Disputes subgroup.

Based in our busy Cheltenham office and reporting to the Legal Support Manager, the Legal Support Assistant will deliver comprehensive administrative and business support to fee earners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Document preparation — drafting, formatting, and proofreading letters, forms, and legal documents.

  • Administrative support — acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day support needs and anticipating priorities.

  • Financial process support — assisting with the preparation of financial transactions.

  • Client interaction — managing initial client queries and providing a professional first point of contact.

  • Diary management — coordinating diaries for allocated fee earners, including arranging travel.

  • Compliance checks — carrying out conflict and ID checks.

About You

You will bring:

  • Strong IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office and Teams.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate typing skills.

  • Clear communication and strong organisational ability.

  • Experience in a client-facing role (advantageous).

  • Previous experience in legal or professional services (desirable).

  • Familiarity with case management systems (helpful but not essential).
