Permanent Night Care Support Worker to join a small care setting based in Erdington, Birmingham.

The home specialises in caring for adults with; Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Epilepsy, Mental Health conditions, Complex Needs, and individuals requiring PEG feeding.

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the residents with their daily needs; Feeding, Personal care, Companionship
• Working in a team with a registered nurse and other healthcare professionals
• Deliver personalised care tailored to individual needs
• Support residents with PEG feeding and other nutritional needs
• Promote dignity, independence, and choice in daily care
• Maintain high standards of health & safety throughout the home
• Perform regular wellbeing and safety checks
• Assist at mealtimes – preparing snacks or providing support with feeding
• Use manual handling equipment safely and confidently
• Keep accurate records (daily logs, care charts, etc.)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and team members

Your Set Rota (12-Hour Day Shifts): 20:00 - 08:00

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 4: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

**To be considered, you must be able to commit to this rotating schedule**

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experience in a Healthcare Assistant role (Minimum 6 months- UK based)
• Confident in using manual handling equipment
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• A positive, proactive attitude and a team player mindset
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
