This opportunity sits at the forefront of MLOps, machine learning, and GenAI, working within a specialist team delivering high-impact solutions in complex, high-assurance environments. The position combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, supporting the design, deployment, and optimisation of advanced AI systems.

Your Responsibilities
Lead technical delivery across machine learning and MLOps engagements
Design, build, and deploy ML models and LLM-based solutions
Develop and optimise pipelines for model training and deployment
Work across cloud and high-performance computing environments
Act as a subject matter expert across AI and machine learning
Support junior engineers and contribute to team capability development
Contribute to internal innovation and continuous improvement
Key Requirements
Strong programming capability in Python
Experience building and deploying machine learning models and pipelines
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure preferred)
Practical experience with Docker, Linux/Unix CLI, Git, and testing
Understanding of modern AI approaches, including:
Agentic AI systems
RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
Graph-based approaches
Computer vision, audio, or multimodal models
Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
Strong communication and problem-solving capability
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
