Warehouse Manager

Location: Poole, Dorset

Salary: £Negotiable (depending on experience)

We are currently working in partnership with a well-established and growing business in Poole to recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their senior leadership team.

This is a pivotal role with full accountability for warehouse operations, offering the opportunity to shape processes, lead teams, and drive operational excellence within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

As Warehouse Manager, you will take ownership of all warehouse operations, including stock integrity, pick, pack and dispatch, people leadership, and third-party logistics management. You will play a key role in supporting the company’s growth by developing efficient, scalable processes and ensuring high service levels are consistently delivered.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading all day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring performance, accuracy, and service levels are achieved
• Managing and developing a team of managers and supervisors, driving accountability and performance
• Maintaining stock integrity and ensuring orders are fulfilled on time and in full
• Driving continuous improvement across processes, systems, and warehouse layout
• Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and operational standards
• Managing logistics partners to ensure cost-effective and efficient distribution
• Monitoring KPIs, costs, and performance, reporting into senior leadership

About You:

• Proven experience managing a warehouse or distribution operation with full accountability
• Strong leadership experience, including managing managers
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations (inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch)
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on performance and service delivery
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and operational compliance
• Commercial awareness with experience managing costs and improving efficiency
• Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders
