Job Spec:


My client is a next generation management consultancy, we blend senior industry expertise with the latest Data, AI and Automation technologies to solve business problems. This engagement is an initial 6-month project to deliver the use case decisioning, data readiness, high-level TOM design and 1st year programme plan and we are looking to add an experienced Business Analyst to our team.


The role will include but not be limited to:


  • Working with business and technical stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritise Quantexa use cases aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives.
  • Conduct workshops and interviews with key stakeholders across business lines to elicit detailed functional and non-functional requirements, utilising your strong business domain knowledge
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured documentation for the delivery team.
  • Analyse available data sources to assess quality, completeness, and suitability for integration.
  • Collaborate with data owners and engineers to map source systems, key entities, and relationships.
  • Identify data gaps, quality issues, and remediation needs to support the target use cases.
  • Support the development of a high-level TOM for how Quantexa will be embedded within the bank’s business and technology landscape.
  • Document ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ process flows to highlight efficiencies and integration points.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, data teams, and the Quantexa technical specialists.
  • Prepare and present analysis findings, use case documentation, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain alignment between business outcomes and technical delivery scope throughout the analysis phase.


The ideal candidate is likely to have:

  • 3-5 years + Fin Crime Business Analyst experience
  • Strong domain knowledge across the Financial Crime landscape within Banking
  • Ideally have exposure to Quantexa, Fenergo or Actimize are beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, used to speaking with senior individuals across Compliance, Data and Technology
  • CAMS certification preferred but not essential
