Flexographic Print Operator – Tamworth

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Flexographic Print Operator to join our well-established client based in Tamworth.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, ongoing work and potential permanent opportunities following a successful trial period.

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Flexographic Printer, Print Machine Operative, Print Operator, Machine Minder or Printing Operative.

Rates of Pay:

• £16.00 per hour

Shifts:

• Monday – Friday
• 06:00 – 14:00 rotating weekly with 14:00 – 22:00
• Training may initially take place on day shifts

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a Flexographic Print Operator, your duties will include:

• Setting up and running Flexographic Printing Press machinery using works order sheets
• Identifying faults during machine set-up and resolving issues where required
• Completing paperwork accurately and inputting information onto internal systems
• Performing checks against instructions to ensure product quality and conformity
• Carrying out regular quality inspections and correcting quality issues promptly
• Ensuring sufficient raw material stock levels are maintained to support productivity
• Reporting defective machine parts and maintenance concerns
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Flexographic Print Operator you will need:

• Previous Flexographic machine operating experience
• Good attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work towards targets and KPIs
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and professional attitude

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment

Training Provided:

• Full on-site training provided
• Continued development support throughout the assignment
