Warehouse Operative / Order Picker - Bellshill

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker - Bellshill to join our well-established client based in Bellshill.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, immediate starts, and flexible shift patterns within a busy and fast-paced warehouse environment.

This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, Order Picker, Picker Packer, Warehouse Assistant, Parcel Sorter, Loader, or within other fast-paced warehouse and distribution environments.

Shifts

Alternative shifts available including:

• Day Shift - starts from 06:00
• Back Shift - starts between 14:00 - 16:00
• Night Shift - starts between 22:00 - 04:00

Shift availability may vary depending on client requirements.

Rates of Pay

• £12.79 to £14.12 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker, your duties will include:

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Packing goods ready for dispatch
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Manual handling stock throughout the warehouse
• Working towards productivity targets within a fast-paced environment
• Scanning stock using handheld devices
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards
• Supporting with additional warehouse duties where required

Essential Skills

As a Warehouse Operative / Order Picker, you will need:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Previous order picking experience is advantageous
• To be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
• Ability to work within a busy warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Own transport is advantageous due to shift start times and client location

Training Provided

• Full on-site training provided
• Ongoing support from warehouse supervisors and People Solutions team
